  I signed up for to GAP for a summer job whilst I study. I arrived there and was given a job starting that night at Fedex, which I was quite happy about. I given some shoes, told to find myself a high-vis jacket and told to turn up at Fedex and that was it. I assumed when I got there it would be obvious what to do as I wasn't told anything. It wasn't. The shoes GAP provided were a size too big and both shoes were for the left foot.. After mentioning this to them I was asked what the problem with that was. I told them I didn't have 2 left feet and found my own shows. Fedex was gruelling work, fair enough it was production operative. But after working there I did not get paid and had to call up about 8 times to get paid. Eventually after a month of ringing GAP 2 times a week I was paid. I was paid for 3/4 of the time I actually worked but I feel it is not even worth the time to chase the rest up.

  After finding a job online I was contacted by Damien at GAP to be offered a different job I had applied for after him selling me the job over the phone I decided to give it a shot, I was told that the work was ongoing and I would be offered a full time contract at the end of the 12 week period but after working for the company for only 3 weeks I have now been let go and GAP don't want to know, they are the same as any other agency only concerned about lining their own pockets!!!!
